Motorhome and Touring Caravan Transport Costs

Once you have found and purchased your chosen caravan or motorhome with us, we will share your details with our authorised caravan export shipping company. They will then get in touch with you to provide information on packing and shipping costs. to get your vehicle to New Zealand.

It’s worth noting that we do not include any additional markup on the shipping costs, distinguishing us from many other dealers. You can also explore alternative quotes from different shipping providers to import vehicles to NZ, should you wish to do so.

Step 1

Find a suitable caravan from our selection

You can view our stock online with real images and accurate descriptions of the motorhomes and caravans. If you are unable to find your ideal model, you can email us at info@adwickcaravans.co.uk with your requirements and we will check our list of models due in.


Step 2

Contact us with your chosen model

Contact info@adwickcaravans.co.uk with details of the caravan you like. If you want to pair some caravans up we can advise what works well together in a container and we can use our knowledge of caravans to advise what usually sells well in New Zealand. You can also let us know if you require a Starter Pack with the caravan.

Starter Packs are £180 and they include; 25m Mains cable, Durable step, 40ltr Aqua-roll, 40ltr Wastemaster, Exterior waste pipe connectors, Chemical loo pack, Front hitch cover, (You will need to source locally a leisure battery and gas bottles)


Step 3

Caravan quotation

You will receive your caravan quote and any extra details needed about the caravan. We can also send video walk-through tours to help you visualise the caravan.


Step 4

Shipping quotation

If you’re happy with the deal, then with your approval, we will pass your details to our approved shipping company who will contact you with details of the packing and shipping costs. Unlike many dealers, there is no margin added by us to the shipping costs and you are free to seek alternative quotes from other shippers if required.


Step 5

Decision

Once you are happy to proceed with the buy new motorhome or caravan, we will raise an invoice to you and set to work preparing the caravan through our workshop. Preparation for your caravan export includes a Full PDI check, interior valet and exterior valet.


Step 6

Delivery to the shipping agents

Once The shipping date for your caravan import to New Zealand is confirmed, we will require full payment before one of our experienced drivers delivers the caravan to the shipping agents. On arrival, a video of the caravan will be taken and sent to you so you can be safe in the knowledge that your caravan import has arrived safely.

It’s as easy as that, the caravan is on the way to you.

On arrival, our partner caravan export shipping company will manage any local customs clearance and assist with any duty and tax procedures if applicable. Depending on the regulations, modifications/testing of the gas/mains system may be required. As regulations change so frequently, we advise customers to seek advice on what is required in New Zealand.
